Laundry Bag

In my dorm there really isn't any room for a laundry basket so I made something I could hang or stick anywhere, I even use it to bring things home for the weekend, it holds a ton and takes up no room on my floor:)

The laundry bag is made out of two pillow cases, one was cut into strips, then gathered and sewn on, and the other was kept as is except for two holes in the top so I could thread through the rope that acts as a draw string.

The Little Mermaid

When i was in Florida last i was so excited to find this completely adorable picture of a little mermaid, one with red hair too!! it is exactly my style, vintage with a little shabby chic edge. lucky for me though it was magnetic, so i made a few little magnets from shells that i also found on a Florida beach, so now i have the perfect magnetic message board for my dorm!

Rag Rug

It's time for college again, and I'm so excited!! the only thing this time is, I'm in the dorms, DA DA DA.... ha ha no it will be great, but i need different things then furniture because it all comes with the place already. so I'm making little things like a bath mat for instance, and i don't know what else yet but I'm sure you'll know as soon as i post it:)

Shelving Unit

Sadly i did not make this shelving unit, or antique it, but i bought this at Roberts arts and crafts of all places, it was twenty bucks on sale, and its two standing on top of each other. it was a great find for college because the whole thing comes apart, the shelves come out and everything so it can easily fit in your trunk, and its lite as a feather, so if you don't have any boys to move you in, no worries! or if you do have boys to move you in, but they're weak boys, then no sweat, they could at least act strong by carrying these all up in one lite trip:)
